$8.55/hr - $9.65/hr

We are now hiring engaging students who are committed to the social responsibility of health and safety protocols through peer to peer influencing. The qualified candidate will provide a key role in COVID-19 protocol implementation at Miami University

The overall mission of the position is to enforce the safety and improve the experience of F&B customers and create an awareness of health and safety protocol and the resources available to every guest.

Promote and enforce the new COVID 19 spatial separation practices within the F&B operations with visual cues, physical alterations, and other service enhancements while enforcing efficient traffic flow.

Assist in the communication and facilitation of COVID 19 protocol of cleaning, sanitation stations, and disinfecting procedures moving forward within all F&B operations.

Inform and assist guests of the new protocol within service offerings. Those to include compostable to-go containers in Commons locations, employee served Commons dining, GET online ordering options, and information on the cashless processes.

Assist with marketing initiatives on surveying peers, social media followers, LTO’s, special events and health, the usage of Net Nutrition, Allergen stations, and nutrition tips.

Expectations:
Commit to a minimum of 6 work hours per week
Provide a high level of customer service with a positive attitude.
Strong sense of teamwork and accountability.
Willingness to learn new duties and grow professionally.
Take a leadership role in peer to peer communications
Sanitize tables, chairs, and other high contact surfaces after each guest use them. Help guide and direct guests where to go, remind them to adhere to the social distancing guidelines, and help to maintain a safe environment.
