Job Title: Student Master 2 Grad
Salary/Grade:

11.00/hr - 12.10/hr 

Job Summary:

1. Research: assist faculty with their research activities, such as conducting literature searches/reviews using library and web-based tools, data entry, transcribing interviews and focus groups;
2. Teaching: support faculty in their role as instructor, developing course content, revising and updating syllabi, grading assignments, and supporting undergraduate students; and/or
3. Administrative tasks: developing and/or revising forms, assist with clerical functions, maintain filing systems, compiling updates for various websites, maintaining social media presence.

In addition, student workers should expect to perform a variety of additional tasks according to the specialization of the specific faculty member with whom they will work. Although all persons are strongly encouraged to apply, special consideration will be given to those applicants who are familiar with family science and/or social work. 

Minimum Qualifications:

1. Ability to work in Microsoft Suite and Google Apps is required
2. Excellent written and oral communication skills
3. Comfortable working with multiple deadlines and able to balance multiple tasks simultaneously
4. Able to work independently and as part of a team
5. Dependable, with attention to detail
6. During the academic year, graduate students must be registered for a minimum of six credit hours per term in a degree-seeking program at Miami to be eligible to work as a student employee.
