Visiting Assistant Professor/Instructor

Job Summary:

To teach an innovative four course bundle of courses in BUS 101: Foundations of Business. BUS 101 is part of the required First-Year Integrated Core (FYIC) curriculum for all business majors. The FYIC four course bundle teaches students critical skills such as critical thinking, creative thinking, computational thinking & coding, ethical thinking, communication, and collaboration. In this role, you will be a part of a team of faculty who work collaboratively to integrate these key skills across all four FYIC classes. Start date of position is August 17, 2020.

Minimum Qualifications:

PhD required by date of appointment for appointment as Visiting Assistant Professor; Master’s degree in business, communication or related fields by date of appointment for appointment as Instructor.

This position is available to persons who are currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time and indefinite basis. (Persons authorized to work on such a basis include US citizens, lawful permanent residents (“green card” holders), asylees, refugees, and temporary residents under IRCA.)

Desired Qualifications:

Three to five years of relevant business and/or relevant teaching experience.
