Job Summary:

 

Service and Leadership Coordinators in the Wilks Institute for Leadership and Service coordinate logistical responsibilities for Wilks curricular/co-curricular programming, conceptualize initiatives centered around service and leadership development and represent Wilks at campus and community events. They are invaluable undergraduate staff members as they extend the capacity and scope of the Institute and provide valuable perspective towards student development initiatives

 

Duties/Physical Demands:

Serve as a representative of the Wilks Leadership Institute at campus and community events.
Build relationships with students, faculty, staff, and community members as related to specific projects
Coordinate logistical responsibilities for Wilks curricular/co-curricular programming as assigned (i.e. reservations of rooms, ordering food, design of advertising materials, recruiting participants, reviewing applications, meeting with presenters, etc.)
Contribute to the maintenance of the Wilks Leadership Institute’s Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter accounts
Assess and provide written reports for the programs supported

 

Minimum Qualifications:

Enrolled as a full-time undergraduate student with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.7. Must be in good disciplinary and academic standing throughout the entire term of employment.

 

Desired Qualifications:

Preference may be given to students that have participated in Wilks programs and therefore already have some familiarity with the Institute.
