Visiting Assistant Professor/Instructor

Job Summary:

Visiting Assistant Professor/Instructor in criminal justice beginning August 2020. Teaching duties include instruction of various face-to-face and online undergraduate courses, including surveys of criminal justice, law and courts, policing and corrections. Additional duties include general advising of undergraduates and departmental service as assigned. The position will serve the Regionals locations (Hamilton, Middletown, and West Chester).

Minimum Qualifications:

For appointment as Instructor, earned J.D. or Master’s degree by date of appointment in criminal justice or a closely related field and evidence of a strong commitment to excellence in undergraduate teaching. For appointment as Visiting Assistant Professor, earned Ph.D. by date of appointment in criminal justice or a closely related field and evidence of a strong commitment to excellence in undergraduate teaching.

Position is not eligible for H-1B sponsorship.

Desired Qualifications:

Consideration may be given to candidates with online teaching experience.
