Job Title: Student Associate - Digital Innovation Ambassador

$8.70/hr - $9.80/hr

Job Summary:


Seeking highly self-motivated student who has strong enthusiasm for Digital Innovation, and marketing and promotions.


Duties/Physical Demands:

The purpose of the Digital Innovation Ambassador program is to increase the visibility of Digital Innovation opportunities to the Miami University community. Ambassadors will assist AIMS staff with marketing and outreach by: A) Attending recruitment events such as admissions events, classroom visits, fairs B) Organizing Greek life, residence hall and student organization presentations C) Developing print, online, and social media marketing materials

Ambassadors will: A) Communicate regularly with students interested in study abroad
B) Recruit volunteers from CDI and SFDI alums to help in activities C) Assist the AIMS staff with other special tasks, as assigned

Ambassadors can gain: A) enhanced knowledge of digital innovation, social media marketing and promotions B) advising and public communication skills.

Work assignments require limited direction and supervision.
Experience or specialized knowledge in the area required.
Ability to provide training or tutorial consultation for employees or students.
Assist faculty in planning or producing instructional materials.
Work directly with management in technical tasks.


Minimum Qualifications:

Highly self-motivated student who has strong enthusiasm for Digital Innovation, and marketing and promotions
Comfortable with public speaking and has strong communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with other team members.
Must be in good judicial standing with a GPA 2.75 or higher.


Desired Qualifications:

Digital Innovation program experience. Strong interest in promoting and marketing Miami Digital Innovation programs.
Junior or Senior status.
Knowledge of social media marketing strategies.
