Assistant/Associate Professor (multiple tenure-track positions)

Job Summary:

Assistant/Associate Professor (multiple tenure-track positions) to teach Nursing through classroom and clinical instruction for baccalaureate students (pre-licensure) and graduate students; to maintain an active research agenda; advise students; and provide service to the institution, community and profession. Appointment begins August, 2023.

Minimum Qualifications:

Master’s degree in Nursing by date of appointment; minimum of 2 years (24 months) clinical nursing experience; current or eligible for Ohio RN licensure for appointment as Assistant Professor. Appointment as Associate Professor requires established record of research/scholarship.

Position not eligible for H-1B sponsorship.

Desired Qualifications:

Consideration may be given to candidates with a doctoral degree in nursing or related field of study; prior teaching experience at the baccalaureate and/or graduate level; specialization in nursing leadership; and/or expertise in advanced practice nursing, particularly as a Family Nurse Practitioner with at least 5 years practice experience.

Submit cover letter, curriculum vitae, a statement of service/research expertise and proposed agenda, statement of teaching philosophy, evidence of service/research quality should be included as well as a list of any relevant courses taught and evidence of teaching effectiveness, and a 1-page statement addressing past and/or potential contributions to advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion through research, teaching, and/or service.
