Hours Per Week:

8-12 hours

Job Summary:

The University Libraries’ Office of the Dean is looking to fill a Master 1 Graduate position for the spring semester, with the potential for additional summer hours. This position will support the Coordinator of Strategy, Assessment, Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion.

Office hours are 8 a.m. - 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Essential Duties:

Responsibilities include:
- Curriculum development for a Student Leadership Academy
- Mentoring student employees on leadership strategies
- Implementation of DEI initiatives within the University Libraries

Minimum Qualifications:

- Reliability, integrity, and must be in good academic standing;
- Strong verbal and written communication skills;
- Ability and willingness to work independently in a team environment;
- Ability to prioritize projects and manage multiple projects simultaneously;
- Commitment to creating an inclusive and welcoming environment for students, faculty, and staff

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience writing lesson plans or developing curriculum
- Experience supervising, coaching, or mentoring students
- Documented or credentialed work related to diversity, equity, inclusion, intergroup dialogue, cultural intelligence, or related field
