Data Visualization - Student Master 2 Undergrad


11.00/hr - 12.10/hr

Job Summary:

Work directly with a programmer or management systems analyst to prepare charts and graphs, write documentation, write programs, and perform detailed systems analysis. Our visualizations attempt to tell the story of how well our IT services, processes, and technologies are performing against user expectations and technical targets.

Essential Duties:

-Lead the complete lifecycle of visual analytical products; from the development of mock-ups & storyboards to production.
-Develop rich, interactive graphics, data visualizations of "large" amount of structured data.
-Write reports and queries to extract data from a variety of source applications to aggregate in an analytics engine.
-Design reports, web-pages, and present information using clear language, graphs and charts.
-Gather and analyze a broad range of internal and external current and historical data in order to provide information for planning and decision making to management.
-Work closely with a product and process teams to identify and answer important questions.

Minimum Qualifications:

A current student with a major or minor in Data Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related.

Preferred Qualifications:

-Strong analysis and problem-solving skills
-Strong interpersonal and written communication skills
-Understanding of statistical methods, including statistical process control; Experience with statistical analysis using SPSS, SAS or equivalent tools
-Experience with data visualization toolkits
-Passion for transforming a large amount of data into compelling visual stories to facilitate analysis and decision-making
-Experience with visualization of "real-time" data
-Working knowledge of SQL
