Visiting Assistant Professor/Instructor

Job Summary:

Visiting Assistant Professor/Instructor (possible multiple positions) to teach multiple sections of BUS 102: Foundations of Business Communication. This position is a full-time, benefits-eligible position. BUS 102 is part of the required First-Year Integrated Core (FYIC) curriculum for all Farmer School of Business majors. The FYIC four-course block teaches students critical skills such as critical thinking, creative thinking, computational thinking & coding, ethical thinking, communication, and collaboration. The expected start date for this position is August 16, 2021.

In this role, you will be a part of a faculty who work together as a team to integrate these key skills across all four FYIC classes (BUS 101: Foundations of Business; BUS 102: Foundations of Business Communication; ESP 103: Creativity, Innovation, and Entrepreneurial Thinking; and BUS 104: Introduction to Computational Thinking for Business). Minimum Qualifications:

Ph.D. (for appointment as Visiting Assistant Professor; Master’s degree for appointment as Instructor in rhetoric and writing, communication, business, or related fields.

Position is not eligible for H-1B sponsorship.

Desired Qualifications:

Consideration may be given to candidates with teaching or work experience related to business communications.
