Job Title: Western Program Student Specialist

$9.10/hr - $9.65/hr

Job Summary:

The Western Program is hiring part-time student associates to work the front desk of the Western Center in Peabody Hall. Position begins Fall 2021.

Essential Duties:

- Supervising Western Center student lounge and computer lab in 22 Peabody Hall
- Greeting and providing assistance to students and other visitors to center
- Maintaining general order and cleanliness of center
- Answering phone calls to front desk
- Assisting Western faculty and staff with administrative tasks
- Assisting Western Center Coordinator with various projects as needed

Other duties may include:
- Assisting with planning and setup of Western events
- Serving as student ambassador for the Western Program
- Posting updates on Western's social media platforms
- Locking doors in Peabody Hall at night
- Helping Western faculty and staff with special projects.

Preferred Qualifications:

Western Program (Individualized Studies) major or minor
