Job Title: Associate Director, Digital Services
Job Summary:

The Associate Director, Digital Services works as part of the Digital Services team and leads many of the small to medium digital marketing initiatives for University Advancement. Will assist the Director, Digital Services on larger scale campaigns. This role will help manage the project flow through the department across most web and email based projects.

Duties/Physical Demands:

• Strategize and plan for online communications to alumni (divisional websites, email blasts, etc.) for alumni, development and stewardship teams, as well as for other University divisions to successfully engage and inform alumni.
• Manage Project Management flow of web and email marketing processes (design, layout, editing, proofing) for all web and email projects coming out of the Digital team.
• Provide necessary supervision and direction on e-marketing content and design needs.
• Consult with clients regarding project scope for email/web marketing as it pertains to their specific project or event. Assist and advise internal and external clients on web and email-based content and strategy.
• Coordinate with the Creative team for copywriting of web content during the build, organize and update phases of the division web pages, e-newsletters, and alumni email blasts.
• Serve as key contact with Marketing Communications Web Team for Alumni Chapters and Groups.
• Maintains site appearance by developing and enforcing content and display standards.
• Analyze digital marketing trends, recommend and implement changes to communication strategies and plans based on analysis and feedback.
• Lead monthly reporting on web, email, and social media analytics and make recommendations based on that data.
• Lead special projects related to online design and implementation (e.g. MoveInMiami microsite)
• Manage the day-to-day aspects of the web and email marketing projects from the Digital team.
• Management of student workers and their work.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree and at least five years of relevant work experience. Internships, volunteer work and other experience gained during the completion of degree programs may be counted toward these requirements.
• 3 years of HTML experience
• 3 years of experience with online content management systems

Desired Qualifications:

• Superior organization, problem solving and planning skills
• Ability to provide strategic planning input to individual campaigns
• Degree or in pursuit of degree in IMS or graphic design
• Strong communication skills
