Job Title: TLC Hamilton Desk Worker-Student Assistant 

$8.80/hr - $9.65/hr

Job Summary:

In office 8-5 Mon through Fri offered

Work assignments are completed under close supervision.

Procedures are well established.

Employees typically follow well-defined policies and procedures.

Minimal training or prior knowledge of work is required.

Handling confidential and/or sensitive information requiring diplomacy

Promotions and Pay increases are available as more training, experience, and responsibilities increase.

Essential Duties:

Customer Service

Answering Phones, Taking Detailed Messages, Transferring Calls

Scheduling Tutoring, Advising, and Peer Educator Appointments

Printing and Copying

Scheduling Placement Tests

Proctoring Placement Tests

Organizing and Cleaning Office Spaces

Creating Digital and Paper Media When Needed Other Duties as Assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

Knowledge of Microsoft Office

Knowledge of Google Drive

Excellent Customer Service Skills

Excellent Communication Skills

Detailed Organization Skills

Good Academic Standing

Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills

Courteous, welcoming demeanor and dedication to assist students, parents, faculty, and staff


Ability to work in an independent work environment with minimal supervision

Ability to work well under stress and time pressure

Preferred Qualifications:

Working Knowledge of Media Applications

Working Knowledge of Google Applications

Working Knowledge of Canva Application

Work Study selected on the FAFSA form
