Job Summary:


Miami University Regionals' Center for Social Impact is seeking to fill vacancies in their student support staff. Applicants must be outgoing, with excellent verbal and written communication skills and a desire to act as a student leader for service-related projects. Likewise, ideal applicants will have experience in (or desire to learn) data entry, office organization, and marketing and design.


Duties/Physical Demands:

Acting as a student liaison between student organizations, athletic teams, English Language Center, and our office, in order to market and coordinate volunteer events

Managing our ComMUnity Connect databases, including updating lists of volunteers, community partners, and service hours logged.

Assisting students and faculty in understanding how to navigate the ComMUnity Connect online tracking system.

Maintaining and updating the organization of office, including filing systems, ordering office supplies and materials for events, copying and distributing documents, etc.

Acting as receptionist and public face of the office when the Regional Director and Coordinator are not in, including answering phone calls and emails and light office upkeep

Providing on-site support for off-campus volunteer events throughout the year, including assistance in set-up and break-down and registration of volunteers
