Job Title: Softball Academic Mentor - Student Mstr 2 Grad

11.00/hr - 12.10/hr 

Job Summary: ● Have a passion for education and serve as a positive role model for
● Interact with and motivate students to perform at a high level in the classroom
● Work directly with coaches and academic support staff to help evaluate
student-athletes’ academic performance
● Supervise students during required softball study hall while maintaining an
organized, disciplined study environment
● Conduct regular meetings and help students develop effective learning
strategies, time management, and organization skills
● Track student-athletes’ academic performance (i.e., tests, quizzes, projects) and
provide weekly reports to coaches and academic support staff
● Maintain records of student-athletes’ attendance in softball and additional study
hall on a weekly basis
● Meet with softball coaches and academic coordinator on a regular basis to
provide updates on student-athletes’ academic progress
