Job Title:

IT Services - Student Assistant

Salary/Grade:

$8.55/hr - $9.65/hr

Job Summary:

Work with the Network Infrastructure Services Team in support of network improvements and maintenance

Work assignments are completed under close supervision.
Procedures are well established.
Employees typically follow well-defined policies and procedures.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Resourceful and ability to adapt to changing environments.
• Ability to communicate detailed matters accurately.
• Basic computer skills (network experience preferred).
• Reliable
• Ability to lift network or other equipment up to 60 pounds.
• Ability to work in various indoor and outdoor conditions including standing up to two hours while assisting.

Minimal training or prior knowledge of work is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Basic computer skills (network experience preferred)
• Highly self-motivated and adaptable to learning and understanding
new technologies.
• Skilled at conveying information in a simple manner.
