Our Services

To request services from Communications for the Division of Student Life, please email StudentLife@MiamiOH.edu at least 14 days ahead of when you need it, to leave us time to complete your request. Larger projects may require more time.

Strategic planning/marketing plans. We provide creative strategy for a number of projects. We can help you develop a communication plan and content strategy.

Print publications. We can design flyers, A-frames, table tents, print newsletters, brochures, etc.

Digital projects.

  • Graphics. We provide light graphic design services for publications, digital assets, websites, digital screens and other media. We use the Miami brand on our projects while finding ways to individualize the visual look and feel for each project.
  • Websites. While it is the responsibility of each department to make sure that the information on their site is accurate and up-to-date, we provide support in website organization, content, editing, web forms, and analytics.
  • Email campaigns. We can set you up with Miami's email marketing system (Emma), create templates for digital email campaigns, and provide training for your office staff.
  • Presentations. We can help convert old PowerPoints and Google Slides files into the Student Life template, and edit and improve current presentation files.
  • Social Media. As the owners of the "Student Life" social media handles, we can provide support of your messages by sharing with our audiences. We also provide professional development and training on various aspects of social media.

News and Blog articles. We create stories, headlines, and web copy, and we edit content for campaigns and proofread for accuracy. We can publish articles on the Student Life News page and the Student Life blog.

Video Production. Video production can take a great deal of planning, shooting, editing, and proofing. We recommend any video needs you have be planned well in advance and, given the labor-intensive nature of the work, be reserved for major priority items.

General consultation/training/professional development. We can audit your current efforts and make recommendations, consult on current or new projects, and provide various social media, web-related, and other training. See the Student Life Intranet for sample training topics.

Unsure of needs? Reach out and we can chat about it!
