Visiting Assistant Professor/Instructor

Job Summary:

Visiting Assistant Professor/Instructor to teach full load of statistics/mathematics service courses for education, engineering and/or computer science majors. Miami University Hamilton is primarily a teaching campus with courses at the first- and second-year levels; however, there will be opportunities to teach in the area of specialty and to teach online courses.

Position is for the 2020 calendar year (spring and fall semesters).

Minimum Qualifications:

PhD for appointment as Visiting Assistant Professor; Master’s Degree for appointment as an Instructor in Statistics, Mathematical Science or related area; strong teaching background.

Position is not eligible for H-1B sponsorship.

Desired Qualifications:

Consideration may be given to candidates with online teaching experience.
