Job Title:

Assistant/Associate Professor

Duties:

Develop an independent high quality research program; teach undergraduate and graduate courses according to the needs of the department, primarily in biomedical engineering; advise students; supervise student research; and provide service to the institution. 

Minimum Qualifications:

Earned doctoral degree in biomedical engineering, bioengineering, or related field by date of appointment. Appointment as Associate Professor requires a proven record of accomplishment in research, scholarship, teaching and service.

Desired Qualifications:

Consideration may be given to candidates with expertise in the areas of bioinstrumentation, biomedical device design, neuroengineering, cardiovascular engineering, computational biomedical engineering, or bioinformatics; or those with a record of published research/scholarship in biomedical engineering/bioengineering or experience teaching in higher education.
