Job Title: Senior Account Manager
Job Summary:

This position is responsible for the management of the Campus Services Account Management team. The work entails the daily supervision and assist with the strategic direction of the account managers, the unit marketing plan calendaring, analytics/reporting, and guidance of the promotions and marketing campaigns. Highly qualified candidates will possess experience with working in a marketing firm or agency, externally facing, account management and service oriented marketing.

Duties/Physical Demands:

Responsible for entire marketing plan life-cycle. Have a long range vision and support creative thinking in a variety of services industries. Maintain and create working processes for efficient management of the team. Develop professional relationships in all units within Campus Services as a liaison and support for account managers.

  1. Supervises and assist the development of advertising and marketing plans by the Account Managers for all auxiliary units. Determines which marketing and advertising avenues are most viable. Ensures consistency and quality of marketing message.
  2. Assist with seeking out client opinions about promotional marketing needs. Acts promptly and in a helpful manner when dealing with customer questions and concerns, including customer response processes and assisting with public relations creation, processes, and dissemination.
  3. Communicates effectively to the Campus Services Marketing leadership on all aspects of daily management within the account manager duties.
  4. Assist account managers with researching marketing trends, promotional ideas and industry standards to determine which sales techniques, marketing, are most effective. Confers with other staff members regarding marketing and sales policies and procedures. Reviews and recommends changes when necessary. Assist with supporting the Miami branding guidelines, copyright and licensing procedures.
  5. Coordinates the planning, calendaring, training, and daily work of all Marketing account managers regarding their responsibilities for departmental accounts and specialized areas of concentration. Promotes and support continuous learning and facilitates opportunities to develop and train. Fosters a culture of teamwork, creativity, champions for change, continuous improvement, and agility.
  6. Ensure accuracy of all brand guidelines, copyright, licensing procedures in all account manager promotional material and marketing implementation within Campus Services units.


Minimum Qualifications:

Associate's, vocational, or technical school degree, and at least 5 years of experience, or an equivalent combination of a completed educational program and experience totaling at least 7 years.

Desired Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Mass Comm, Marketing, or related field.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Have a working knowledge of marketing, advertising, sales, PR and multi-media communications. Understand the dynamics of marketing agency/firm management and create a culture of new and exciting idea generation. Manage a variety of projects at one time and provide problem solving solutions quickly.
