Assistant Professor

Job Summary:

Assistant Professor (tenure-track) to teach courses in neurocognitive disorders, motor speech disorders, fluency, or AAC; maintain an active research agenda, seek external funding, advise students, and provide service to the institution.

Collaborative opportunities are available within the University in the areas such as education, gerontology, psychology, and neuroscience.  Research start-up funds and university resources for faculty development and teaching effectiveness are available.

Duties:

Teach courses in neurocognitive disorders, motor speech disorders, fluency, or AAC; maintain an active research agenda, seek external funding, advise students, and provide service to the institution.

Minimum Qualifications:

Ph.D. in Communication Sciences and Disorders or closely related field is required by date of appointment.

Desired Qualifications:

Consideration may be given to candidates with CCC SLP certification or eligibility for Ohio Board Speech-Language Pathology licensure, although the responsibilities of the position do not include clinical supervision.
