Student Assistant - CAS InterfACE

Salary/Grade:

$8.55/hr - $9.65/hr

Job Summary:

InterfACE is an interactive program where partners work with international students in the ACE Program as a component of the ACE 112 curriculum. Each InterfACE partner will mentor approximately six ACE students over the course of the semester. Their role is to facilitate weekly discussions centered around cultural topics and themes relevant to life in the United States and at Miami University. Additionally, partners are expected to engage with ACE students outside of the Tuesday meetings in a mentorship capacity, by checking in with them electronically each week, as well as taking their group into the Miami and Oxford Community to engage more broadly in their first semester.

Work assignments are completed under close supervision.
Procedures are well established.
Employees typically follow well-defined policies and procedures.

Minimum Qualifications:

Minimal training or prior knowledge of work is required.
