Job Title: Student Associate - Western Program
Salary/Grade:

8.70/hr - 9.80/hr

Job Summary:

The Western Program is hiring part-time student associates to work the front desk of 39'84 West Student Center & Computer Lab

Primary duties include:
Supervising 39'84 West Student Center & Computer Lab in Peabody Hall
Greeting and providing assistance to students and other visitors to center
Maintaining general order and cleanliness of center
Answering phone calls to front desk
Assisting Western Center Coordinator with various projects as needed
Other duties may include: assisting with planning and setup of Western events, serving as student ambassador for Western Program, posting for Western Program social media platforms, locking doors in Peabody Hall at night, and helping Western faculty and staff with special projects.

Work assignments require limited direction and supervision.
Experience or specialized knowledge in the area required.
Ability to provide training or tutorial consultation for employees or students.
Assist faculty in planning or producing instructional materials.
Work directly with management in technical tasks.

Preferred Qualifications:

Western Program (Individualized Studies) major or minor
